You might have read that title and thought, What? I don’t get it, an Abaya that’s see-through? What’s the point?
Well, the great thing about it, is that you can dress it up or down, and take it from modest to not-so-modest with what you wear underneath. So let’s say you’re going to a function where you’d like to dress a little more modestly. You want to keep yourself covered while still looking like a million bucks. Here’s how to do it- wear a black full sleeve, full length dress underneath your Abaya, that way people won’t even be able to tell that you’re outfit is actually see-through! Top it off with chunky rings, and a long necklace to peak out from underneath your hijab. Wear with a bold clutch, like this Alexander McQueen one below, and a sleek nude pump for that sophisticated feel.
Ok, now let’s say you’re attending a party where you don’t necessarily have to be covered or dressed super modestly. But you still want to rock out in your Songes “Graceful Gold” Abaya. Try a sparkly top and a skirt paired with bold pink pops of color in your shoes, accessories and clutch. Keep your earrings and rings delicate so they’re not competing with the rest of your look.
